My name is Thomas Holland and I’m a writer on the path to finishing and publishing my first novel!
I’ve been writing fiction seriously since 2018 to a limited audience of trusted readers and early supporters of my efforts even read my self-published Amazon horror shorts (since pulled down with plans to revise).
Fast forward five years and my initial novel reached its end, got a second draft, then was mauled by a significant shift to patch together a third draft…which is when I realized I had to put that project aside. I was growing as a writer and the original story was lost in an ocean of rewrites.
Enter my current novel-in-progress. I started with a fresh idea and took to the page once more, armed with more experience and a confidence that only comes with putting in the work. Over two years (I hold two jobs aside from writing) the first draft came to its exciting conclusion and I am now mid-revision for the second draft with aspirations to be querying said novel by years-end. This is both an exciting and petrifying concept to me.
At the same time, I will also be making efforts to spread my smaller works around. That means taking time for crafting new shorts and submissions to all the platforms that love bite-sized fiction. Keep an eye out! With some luck this site will fill in over time until the happy day I can formally announce a debut novel.
