New Short Story: The White Room

"The White Room" is now available!

Today's story is a little different.

The White Room takes a different approach to horror, this time taking place through the viewpoint of a P.I. on a serial kidnapping case. I've always had an appreciation for mysteries and a morbid interest in learning about serial murders/kidnappings (it's not like it's hard to find TV/Youtube series covering them).

I think those two things combined in my subconscious, and The White Room was born as a result. As my first stab (pun intended) on this sort of story I had a great time figuring out the timeline and progression. Perhaps this one doesn't fit as neatly under the horror genre, but it still promises to deliver some "Oh god, no" moments.

The full White Room story is available on Amazon for $0.99 and is free for Kindle Unlimited users.

I'll be back to my typical horror with the next story - I'm thinking I might explore some paranormal stuff. You'll just have to come back soon to see for yourself!

Story Description:

Hired to find one Lillian Ramirez, P.I. William Bran pulled into Ricco, Washington expecting another typical case. A jealous ex perhaps, maybe a psycho from down the block.

His estimation couldn’t have been more wrong however, when he realizes the depth of the case he stepped into – a string of 12 abductions with 11 survivors to interview and not a single lead to be found. So, when William wakes up in a room of blinding light to find himself starving and desperate for water, he comes to a sickening realization.

He’s victim #13.
